Wrongful Death Suit Filed After Fatal Stabbing at High School Party

Attorneys at Arnold & Itkin have filed a wrongful death and survival lawsuit in Harris County, Texas, on behalf of a Texas teenager against a homeowner. The suit alleges that the homeowner negligently supervised a high school party at his Cypress property, permitting a large, unsupervised gathering of minors and failing to screen out individuals who were known to be dangerous.

During the party, an altercation broke out, and the teenager was fatally stabbed. The lawsuit alleges that the homeowner failed to intervene or render aid. Arnold & Itkin is seeking wrongful death, survival, and exemplary damages on behalf of the teenager’s estate.

Homeowners who host gatherings, particularly those involving minors, have a responsibility to supervise their property and take reasonable steps to prevent foreseeable harm. When that responsibility is ignored, the consequences can be tragic and irreversible.

Our wrongful death lawyers are committed to pursuing accountability on behalf of the family and seeking justice for this preventable loss of life.
