Suit Filed Against Harris County Dealership After Wheel Falls Off Serviced Vehicle
Arnold & Itkin has filed suit in Harris County against a prominent dealership after a husband suffered serious injuries when the wheel on his vehicle suddenly fell off—just after the dealership had serviced and returned the car to him.
Our client trusted the dealership to do its job correctly. Instead, he drove away in a vehicle with a wheel that had not been properly secured, and it cost him. The wheel detached without warning, inflicting injuries to his knee, leg, and back, serious injuries that no one should have to endure because of someone else's careless work.
Auto dealerships and repair shops hold a basic duty of care: when a customer pays for a service, the vehicle should be safer, not more dangerous, when it leaves the lot. Our product liability attorneys are pursuing full accountability against the dealership for the injuries our client never should have suffered.
"When corporations act recklessly with the tasks the public entrusts them with, incidents like this occur," said an attorney on the case. "We look forward to getting justice for our client, no matter what."
